Will VAC scan my cheats?

So I have a Hard Drive, which I partitioned into two sections, one section is my linux partition and another is my windows partition.

I was thinking I could play legit on my linux partition, and do HVH and cheating on my windows partition.

My question is will VAC scan contents on my windows partition even though I'm playing on linux?
