i believe it's safe to use? even if it's detected or something eac will just prevent you from playing the game that's all but as being said use it at your own risk

No, but it is easy to spot a diffrence in FOV if someone has trained eye. There was hexy (big dbd twitch streamer) tournament and he spotted fast some players use stretched resolution to get better loops.
