CA not working?
CA not working?
I'm not running hacks or anything, but my game wont start - but please, this is a complicated problem. It happened before to me, but I don't know how to fix it.
Once or twice before, there was a time where I could not start the game. What would happen was either I start from CA Direct, then the game freezes at the man running loading page, and I have to restart my computer, or I start from the website, and before the game starts, my computer freezes and I have to restart my computer.
Well this is happening to me again. I reinstalled the game hoping it would work, so I started from the website. Same problem, so this time I restart my computer, and run the game from CA Direct, in compatibility mode, as admin. This time, it came up with the error "Failed to update protection module".
Now take note, this morning I was playing, however, my computer restarted itself to do updates. It restarted while I was playing CA, but I didn't think it was a big deal, so after it restarted, and all the updates were finished, I tried to start the game, and that is when all my trouble began.
I am running Windows 7, 64 bit home premium.
Please, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, tell me. If we can't work it out over the forums, I can download teamviewer and see if we can fix it that way.
