For all that as ask "It is possible to change Crosshairs?" 
The answer is YES it is.
You just need to go to:
(Change the in menu)
Z8Games > CrossFire > rez > UI > UI_Option > InGame
(Change the in game)
[I]Z8Games > CrossFire > rez > UI > UI_Option[/I)
They all have the name cross... like show on iamge below

So if you want just copy to a image editor program and create your own.

omfg your wrong that jsut changes how it looks in the options! Like if you go in-game then hit "Esc" then click options then go to "Misc" thats all that is! Only way to change your in-game real cross hair is some where in the rez files!

Why spend hours modifying? Because it gives a custom look.
Why spend a few hours looking for the cross hairs? Because it would give a custom look.
