osu!ui.dll modding

alright so today i will help you get a cool menu like this (i am not responsible if you get banned)
what you will need dnspy
and probably photoshop (if you want it to look decent)


1. Go to file explorer options
2. Then turn on show hidden files folders and drives
3. go to your osu! folder and copy the directory
4 go to dnspy and click file open and paste osu! directory now look for osu!ui.dll and open it
5. search (ctrl+shift+k) for the asset you want to replace in this case i will replace menu-osu@2x. png with my custom file
6. now dbl click the file you want to edit and at the assembly explorer find the highlighted file
7. right click the file and click edit resource
8. click the 3 dots and navigate to the new file and open it then click ok
9. when your done click file and save assembly

Extra
you can right click the original say menu-osu@2x and save the file to see what resolution it is
you can also right click the resources folder and save all the assets just make sure to open them with the right program because they don't come with extensions

i wouldn't do this.
