What book next

(sorry for my bad englise)

A long time ago I started to learn c++, I started with c++ in 21 day's. But after a while I realized that the book was not up to date.

Now I have the book c++ for dummies, But this book is "to easy" and to slow. And there are no exercises.

What book can I use now?

well its what i used.. i dont really know if you should use it now or what but its still C++ and would still teach you, you can look for a newer one but stuff like the Dummies books and the "in X amount of days/weeks" are not really the best choices of books. try looking for something that doesnt have a fast/simple teaching method. look for something advanced

Ya, i learned c++ from the book by Jesse Liberty, that guys is amazing. What's pissing me off is that i can't find a good win32 api tutorial.

don't worry about the age of a book, the basics haven't changed at all, and once you know the basics the more advanced stuff is easier to understand(so you can just follow guides on the internet)

Never used books myself, but i hear C++ primer is good. Unsure of current version, but google will help with that.
