Its ok, but you can still clean it up a lot. Try putting it on a black background to see what you can fix in the short run.

Extraction.
This is my first render, so idk much.
The edges are supposed to be choppy, cause it was a drawing.

use the pentool to vector out

make a shape of the image, in the pentool setting that just makes a path, not a shape, and then make a new vector mask on the original image

I prefer using the Extraction Filter.
I used pentool before.. ehh.. didn't work out so well, :P

ehm isnt it better to make a large scale cutout then use the eraser tool, so that you can keep the fine lines... yeah this may sound noobish but it does work with pictures like these.

I dunno..it's choppy and I'm not really a fan of the render image either.
Seems too flat. Anyway..read this shit.
