should i learn C#?
i am currently learning programming and C++ and i have noticed more jobs are hiring for C#

is C# the same as C++ but with more enhancements?
is it able to do all that C++ can and more?

in addition.. if i were to go learn C#

anyone recommended? jobwise not game hacking for this... i notice jobs hire alot to do with .net so should i use that one?

yeah you cant compare C# with c/c++, since c# has a limited ammount of codes while C/C++ mostly except your own written once too. jobwise i should take classes for this or something like that a course...

by the way... i think people is actually hiring more for Java... anyway learning more then a language is fine, just don't learn them at the same time.

im taking a programming structure class but it teaches in psuedocode and not in any real syntax, it pretty much teaches structures and how to develop a program. but i looked at the job market, yes Java has more but C# is catching up very fast and is past the 50% mark of the amount of Java jobs and has overtaken the amount of C++ jobs. plus i dislike Java completely cuz its slow, only powerful in itself, and extremely little interoperability.

unfortunately thats true lol, im not much of a windows based fan unless its xbox 360 but i have to give in and do their languages cuz they are the ones gaining the popularity in the job market

With C# you can code with XNA which is a Xbox 360 and Windows optimized platform that contains gaming libraries to use with .NET.

im aware of that and i have had XNA downloaded and ready to use for quite awhile now. but the thing about C# and .Net it does NOT have to stay on the windows operating system... it can work for any OS (mac, linux, unix, etc)
