This might sound stupid but im kinda poor. im just a teenager and got no job but i really want to learn how to code in c++. Is there anyone willing to mail me books that they dont use anymore that could help get me started. I mean if ur a fan of linux you would know that sharing is caring (hence the open source OS) i mean only if u dont use the books or something though. pm me about it please
It's only like 15 bucks for a decent book on programming, just go to your local book store and beg your parents for it.
If you bitch enough, at one point they'll give up and spend 15 bucks on you.
Try offering to do work around the house if they buy the book for you. (BTW if you're really passionate about programming this should be a sacrifice you'll be willing to make)
I actually had to be the house cleaning-bitch for a week before my parents bought me a book on C++.
