i would recommend youtube.
some good channels to look at are Guided Hacking, Cheat the Game (rest in peace chris), and Stephen Chapman. Check their playlist tab. all three have playlists for cheat engine and specific games. even if you dont own the game theyre using you can still follow the process in a different game.
ranges from complete beginner to a bit more advanced stuff. CtG and SC are focused more on cheat engine, and probably where you should look and follow first. but still take a look at GH cause they cover stuff other than cheat engine.
youll see CS:GO and Assault Cube used alot for tutorial purposes and are the best bet to learn on. Both are free and the latter is open source, and have tons of tutorials/open source on youtube and forums. can search for "Assault Cube Hacking Tutorial" or something.
your mainly going to be figuring out how to work with cheat engine first. get confident with that, then learn how to Read/Write memory externally, then internally via dll injection. after that probably look at learning ghidra/ida and hooking/calling game functions.
probably not the best route, but its how i went about it and i can cover most of my own needs. sorry this response is worded/formatted poorly, brains scattered lol.
