This mod seems to be partially working for me - blue health bar shows up so it's getting loaded, but I still take damage from hits however somehow the "out of combat" status never changes (as if I never got hit in the first place) which means I get full healing throughout a fight. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong, when it comes to making the no damage part work.

It only prevents client side hits. The server will reconcile and you will take damage. It does reduce the size of your player collider by approx 30% and it seems like you take less incoming damage, but that part I am not sure of. This does not prevent you from taking damage entirely.
