[RELEASE] Lethargic (in development / open beta) 1.4

Lethargic is an overlay for MapleStory Classic World. It sits beside or inside the game window, works out which map you're on from the minimap title, and shows that map's portals, mobs and routes. This is my personal modification of Minerva : on top of the original's map guide it adds an autopilot that walks, hunts, loots, restocks, revives and does quests.
Read this first. The original Minerva never touches the game. This tool does it presses keys and clicks the mouse. Any third-party tool that plays for you can break the game's terms of service and get your account banned. Use it at your own risk. It's not made, endorsed or supported by NEXON, or by the original project.
It still never reads the game's memory or files. Everything comes from ordinary screen capture plus public data: map and mob data from OSMS Data Explorer, and item, shop and quest data from NiaMeowDB.
How it sees the game
Which map: read from the minimap title on screen.
Where you are, to the pixel:
You mark your name tag once (drag a box round it).
Each time it looks at the screen, it finds your name tag, and it finds the game camera by matching the screen against the map's picture.
Together these place your character to the exact pixel, which is what makes jumps, ropes and narrow platforms work.
If the name tag is hidden for a moment (damage numbers, other players), it follows the camera. If both are lost, it falls back to the minimap dot.
The minimap: matched against the map's own minimap image, so scrolling minimaps on big maps are placed correctly too.
Mobs: a YOLO11n detector.
Mobs are found by a small Ultralytics YOLO11n model, fine-tuned for MapleStory.
It was trained on OSMS's mob animations pasted into real maps, among players, pets and damage numbers, so it boxes mobs even when they're stacked or half hidden.
On Windows it runs on your GPU through DirectML, taking a few milliseconds per look.
Each box is then named after the map's mob it looks most like.
Anything it wrongly took for a mob is remembered and ignored after that.
You can drop a newly trained mob-detector.onnx into the app's cache folder to try it without a rebuild.
HP, MP, EXP, level and job: read from the status bar.
Items:
The inventory is read by matching each icon against the game's own item pictures, with stack counts read from the icon's digits.
Items and mesos on the floor are recognised the same way.
Bars and trackers: HP, MP and EXP bars, plus live EXP/h, time to level, mesos/h, potions/h, potion cost/h and profit/h.
Map preview:
Simple or detailed view, showing hidden portals, your position, mob boxes and the route.
Click the map to walk there, or click a portal to take it.
Navigation:
Pick a destination and it shows the route portal by portal; Follow route walks it.
Routes go round maps whose mobs are far above your level, so a level 23 doesn't get walked through Stone Golems.
Loops:
Auto loop builds hunting points from where the map's mobs spawn.
Manual loop lets you place your own points.
Each point remembers how much EXP a minute it has paid, and how long to stop there.
Teach / Watch me:
Play a tricky stretch yourself and it records your moves platform to platform, then plays them back.
If a move fails three times in a row, it goes back to working that stretch out on its own.
Mark name sets up the name tag that pixel tracking needs.
Saved maps: star a map to come back to it later auto saves with manual loops added with clicking minimap in edit loops mode or pressing ` key in game.
Mobs
Every mob on the current map, with level, HP, EXP and its share of the spawns.
Estimated EXP/h and mobs/h, solo and in a 6+ party.
Grey a mob out and the autopilot leaves it alone.
Auto
The autopilot's settings, all mouse-only, so the panel never steals your keyboard.
Potions: HP/MP thresholds, which key drinks, and what each potion costs (feeds the profit tracker).
Timed keys: buffs or anything else pressed every N seconds.
Moving and hunting:
Hunt on/off, and a fighting style:
Up close for melee.
From afar for mages and archers: reaches up and down platforms, and jumps over a mob that gets too close.
Your movement skill (Teleport, Flash Jump), jump key and loot key.
Whether to fight mobs in the way while walking a route.
Retreat when HP is low.
Summon the pet if it's not out.
Restock:
Every item the potion shops sell, with pictures and prices from MeowDB. Click one to mark it to buy (it turns blue).
Each marked item gets a small slider for how many to carry: up to 100 potions, 1,000 arrows, or 1 for stars and bullets, which it also recharges.
Auto restock goes to the nearest potion shop when you run out, buys only what that shop sells, then goes back to your loop. Nothing is worth a 30-map trip.
Shop now sends it there immediately.
Items
Your inventory, every tab, read live from the game window whenever you open it, including quest items.
Click an item to mark it sell ✗ (sold on the next shop visit) or keep it.
Blue means it's bought at the shop; items your active quests need are never sold.
Hover an item for its card: what it's for, where it drops, and Free Market prices.
Quests
Reads the game's quest window, combined with MeowDB's quest and NPC data, to work out what's next on every quest:
who to talk to and where they stand
what to kill or collect
what's ready to hand in
Check quests goes through your quest list in the game to confirm it.
The Auto Quester does one errand at a time:
hands in what's ready
starts what's available
hunts what's needed on the best map it can reach
You can also set it on one quest only.
Progress is kept per character, so it remembers after a restart.
Log
Everything the autopilot decides, in plain words: why it went to the shop, what it bought, which jump failed and why.
If something looks off, this is where to look. You can also save a clip that replays exactly what it saw, for debugging.
Search
Search any mob, map or item.
For a mob: the best maps to hunt it, ranked by spawn density and distance from you, with the route there.
Settings
Hotkeys, autopilot options, EXP tracking, game data refresh, and the Deal Finder: open a player shop and it grades each listing against the market prices you've kept.
Overlays outside the panel
Grind Tracker: a small always-on-top EXP tracker, with your Personal Best on each map.
Item Card: press a hotkey over any item's tooltip to see what it's worth and what it's for.
Item Lookup: opens that item's MeowDB page.
Things it handles on its own
Dying: clicks Revive in town, then walks back to the map it was on and carries on.
Pet: answers "pet is hungry or gone" boxes and re-summons it from the Cash tab.
Looting:
When things drop on your platform, it holds at that loop point instead of walking on.
It gives the pet a moment first, then walks over and picks up whatever's left.
Shopping:
In the shop it clicks the right NPC (Perion's store has two), sells what you marked, buys up to your counts, then presses Up at the door.
Shops have no minimap, so it stands still there rather than wandering off.
How it gets better the more you use it
It's not a fixed script. Most of what it does is learnt, and that learning is kept between sessions. Points 1 to 5 and 7 happen live in the app while you play; point 6 happens before each build.
Every map's layout:
Every hop it makes between platforms is recorded with how it went: walking, jumping, climbing, dropping or taking a portal.
Moves that work get used more; ones that fail get avoided or tried differently.
Even when you play yourself, your path teaches it the map.
Jump timing: your own plain jumps are kept (unless you turn that off). When three or more jumps of the same size agree, their timing is used for that jump on any map.
Taught moves: anything you teach in Teach mode is played back on that map from then on.
Loop points: each point tracks EXP per minute, so time goes where the mobs are.
Detection: anything it wrongly took for a mob is remembered and ignored after that, and the YOLO model can be retrained and swapped in.
Simulation training (before each build):
Before a release, a separate simulator program replays thousands of trips across every map to tune the layouts. The app itself doesn't run it; it ships with the results.
Those results ship with the app, so a fresh install starts from them, and your own play builds on top so its ever learning and updates wont ruin your tuned routes just improve the ones you haved navigated
Per-character memory: quest progress, inventory and settings are kept per character.
Requirements
Windows: the GPU detector needs DirectML. Linux works under X11 with the game in Wine/Proton, with detection on the CPU.
The game running windowed or borderless, with the minimap open.
Mark your name tag once for pixel tracking.

Why this was made -- Saw a lot of bots being sold and figured i could make my own and let use it free, if you dont trust it dont use, if you have questions and suggestions or bug reports post them here or the discord. this will continue to improve with time.

I am mostly active on the discord though due to posting this in 3 different sites it's hard to keep track of them all.
