I recently redownloaded mw2 and when i try to run it i get
Error: missing_fx
Ok, I uploaded it here for you.
To install it. Go to MW2's folder>main>iw_03(open with winrar),extract the file I gave you and drag it in iw_03.
Tell me if it works.
I opened it with winrar do i put the file in the images folder? also do i need to rename it?
Yes, you put it in the image folder and NO do not rename it!
I selected add file to achive and i got 2 errors.

First the archive it's good, just extract it and put it's content in iw_03!
That's all.

I have those errors when i drag files from 1 rar to another. Try to extract the file first then adding it to the iw03.iwd
No matter what i try when i add the files to iw_03 it says that the file is corrupt and unexpected end of archive and i tried to open the missing_fx with winrar after i extracted it and it says the file is corrupt.

Try with Zip.
I sent you a PM with a download link with the file only. I'm not sure it's allowed tho, thats why i'm telling it

Ok, after you get it, tell me if it works.
I even tryed crazyapples file and it still does not work
you could try one more thing, try deleting the IW03, then go to steam, right click on MW2 click Properties, go to Local Files, click "Verify Integrity of Game cache.." when you downloaded the iw03 again, try to replace the file again. If that does not work, try to move your iw03 to your desktop and try to add the file again. IF THAT does not work, go to My Computer, "X:\Program Files\" (replace X with your primary hard drive) search steam right click on Steam folder, choose properties, if Read Only is checked, uncheck it. Try putting the file in iw03 again
Thanks both you guys for helping so much
@CrazyApple i will try all of those until i get one that work
