Help my noobyness be less nooby

Ok, I am totally noob, I have NEVER used a mod before, although i have come across my share of modders in-game... (mostly superknifers and a p-90 pistoler) Now, what I want to know is HOW do i use a mod, What do i do... What do i do with the file i download, a .rez file is a texture file... what do i do with it? if it isnt a .rez file then what...?

Im sure theres a tut somewhere in the mpgh archives... BUT i dont want to search because i have already trawled the past 6 pages of threads... I know ill get flamed for this, but help me now and i can help others a spread the word... There are internets and thanks waiting for you if you post constructively... Thanks in advance

Use rezinject and inject the .dtx or lillithtech file into your original rez file in the nexon/combat arms/game section.
There you go?
If you have a .rex, you can just throw that in the game folder of CA and you should be asked to replace something.
