Gun Skin mod

Ok so i was looking about the CF files on my com when i noticed this TGA of the gatling gun. I was wondering why is it set in to a V shape? Then it occurred to me maybe it is set that way so Graphics and physics engine in the game can read it and render it into 3d. This in theory means that if this is indeed the ingame version of the gatling gun then i could change the colour to say purple and then it would show up in game. Alas i wasnt sure so what im asking is that if anyone knows what this TGA is used for could you please let me know i dont want to be chasing dead ends.

How does a .tga turn 3d in the game? Its probably the shop icon.

hno but seriously that was for the bm crate the actual one would be in a rez file in dtx format most likely becasue ca and cf use the jupiter enginebahahahahahahhaahahahhahahahahaahahahahahROTFLMFAO BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
