Help with scanning for colors
Hey guys I'm needing help making a color scanner. I need it to scan the whole screen of my game to check where a monster is. I was wondering if I could get some help or source whatever works for you. I was also wondering how you can check if a certain pixel contains a specific color like you can do in c++. I'm new at vB so thank you in advanced. Sorry if my typing is not so good I'm on my iPad.

I am not participating in VBOTW...so I have some free time. I can help you !!
I have an old tool for that, give me a sec i'll search it on my laptop.
Like a pixel scanner.

Cough* Pixel aimbot

I have made an pixel scanner but it takes FOREVER to scan the whole screen.

I can give you a hint,
Well in c++ you can scan every 3-4 pixels and create multiple scan threads to be used. Other than that thanks. I can't really add you on MSN btw because I'm in Germany and I only have my iPad and don't have MSN on it. An Hejsan it is not for an aimbot geez. Aimbot + vB = fail.

Well, you can create multiple scans thread in vb too. Using graphic object capture tiny portions of the screen, scan and compare them and combine them if you want. Ah "Aimbot + vB = fail.", really ?? I don't think so !! VB is truly capable of pulling that off !!

Mainly because your capturing technique was poor. I mean why wouldn't it take forever to capture whole screen, assigning it to dynamic picturebox, scanning them and comparing them and then creating the final result !! ???

Multi-threaded scanning is the most affective method I can think of right now !! /yea
for a pixel scanner or aimbot or w/e.. just use C++. It will fit better your needs...
I'm not saying VB sucks at it.. but c++ will do better for sure.. it's faster..

Yea well don't really want to have to deal with pipes, and unless you can tell me a better way to communicate between a dll and an exe then I am just going to solely use vB. Btw the vB app will be a trainer for a game that needs to scan pixels for a color to check on a fake grid axis whether or not the monster is in range for you to attack it. Ok fine I say it's a MS AFK bot but it will be beastly
I don't see what was wrong with creating multiple threads. I'm sure you can get it working perfectly if you put a little effort into it.
