NO! Those are all something different, visual basic and any C,C++,C# are waay harder then gsc modding! TRY AUTOIT! You can even make ingame dev console with that shit easy language.

It's an easy, free mini-language, it's more used to do work for you, you can make little things like, spambot's sending text msg's to Notepad, closing, opening stuff. And you can do the same ingame, while you are ingame with alteriwnet, you can chat ingame and the program sends that to the console, forexample, if you CLICK T ingame for the chat, you type /cg_fov 80 the script you made send's it to the console.

This program is easy to use, no advanced compiling skills, just 1 click and you have your compiled .Exe file.

If your going to do .GSC mods, use C
But its easy enough to go straight into .GSC modding. I did it with no knowledge of C at all.

well, i've been looking at people's mods, and i've learnt a little, and idk if this has helped me at all, but i learn a bit about runescape private servers XD, and i could do a little bit of coding.

but, how do iget this ff viewer working? i got the patch_mp up, but how do i make the bare _rank.gsc?

Luckily I don't make GSC mods then. lol

I learnt by looking at other source codes. Finding out how it worked, then went off and made my own. I have made many original gsc mods.
