in the warrock forums under the patch notes for the new patch (dragnuv rifle and new map one) its says they updated their direct x thing. does that mean their back to using d3d 9?

They should have more information on G1 forums,

although I did notice some graphic changes since the new patch, the water for example..

Yes indeed.

d3d8 doesn't work anymore , so maybe upgrade to d3d9 if you still got d3d8.

1. You do not know this for a fact
2. Everyone already has D3D9 on their system, Vista has D3D10, Win7 has D3D11
3. This will mainly cause problems for coders, not the players

I don't think we have to wait for a few days though, xCocaine has already release his D3D9 hack.
