Guys, I know I'm still not good, but I think I'm getting better. Here is my latest piece, it's been entered in the SOTW, I plan to lose cause there are better people than me, so don't flame on this thread saying, you're gonna lose the SOTW cause you suck. Anyways, leave comments and let me know what you think.

I agree. Try and broaden your knowledge on Photoshop. I have a nice guide stickied in the Tut section which may help you out.

i dont really like the text much,and maybe blur the mario out-side to hide the render?

the text is because it's supposed to be more of a cartoonish style

You should choose some other text, but that text does go well with the background
under the text, you overdid the red, and i can see you stroke one of the patterns.

But to me, it's just a whole bunch of strokes with a render and some text.
Seriously, go look up some tutorials.
(Didn't try to sound mean, but you really can't change your tone of voice over the internet).
