Ranking bug?

Hmmmm.... I went to Scripts, and I edited my rank to Marshall 1st class. It didnt work
What went wrong?

the fastest way is to rename the rank picture files, so that a marshals rank picture would be under a corprals name. yea, it doesn't make much sense, cuz i dont realli know how to explain it, when i'm on my own comp, i'll add in the details

goto
C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\rez\UI\class
find ur rank in the sclass
for example: lets say ur staff sgt 1st class
then rename sclass_100.tga into sclass_10.tga
then whenever there's a staff sgt 1st class u'll c a marshal ranking instead.

Very good way of creating false pictures to fool people

why the hell would u wanna do this anyway?

reason is simple u can make legit looking fake pictures with it, best part is that no Ps or anything needed.
