bad GFX* Not really such a thing as bad modder. Its all general knowledge that is easily obtained at this point. Its the other skills that require refining.

Do one mod a day, and spend an hour+ on it.

Tips: Stick to common guns and not guns that are super rare...
Spend at least 1 hour to 3 days on a mod, don't just edit it once, go into CA, take pictures and release it. Touch it up, but not too much.
Make it WORTH using, and not worth deleting. Be patient.

The day i learned how to texture mod i released like 5 mods lol...
then i realized how i wasnt putting time into them.. and they were basically garbage. Dont release more than one a day is my advice. Keep modding.

You should keep modding. Just because your first few mods were bad doesn't mean you should stop. My first texture mods were shit (which is why I didn't release them). Saying that you released 5 mods in a day plus seeing how they're not good just basically says you're rushing on them. Take your time and make it worth downloading. And also, what I've been thinking lately, you should edit a gun more than once. Like, for example, mod a gun, go into CA and take a picture. Then edit it a bit then take another picture until you think it looks really good. Like on my G36E I just released today, that took 18 hours and about 15 pictures lol. Main point here, don't rush.

Yeah, texture modding is annoying

. I actually only have one out. And I did that about 2 weeks after I started modding. xD haven't done one since.

I spent most of the time thinking of ideas for my mod. But ended up only using an hour to make it.

Aurg I got Camo pics on Internet put them on the gun, but it only takes 5 minutes and I need like a tutor or a epic guide to learn how to do my own stuff lol, guess I still can't make my own Overlays D=

Before making a mod. See what's popular. Don't go starting new trends right away, it will NEVER work. Once you know what's popular, get an easily accessible, popular gun, such as g36e, ak47, m4a1, m416, l96a1, etc. And get those looking the way you want it, or if it's for the community get it the way the community wants it.
