😳 [Release]Clear Riot Sheild

Not sure if this would be qualified as a release, seeing as how I know this has been done before. (But not put up?) I has to have been. Its just too simple.

Anyways, in the process of making stuff for a pack I'm up to, I was messing around with the shield, and found if you make the alpha layer black, the shield looses that plastic opacity. This helps a lot seeing as how even after taking a ton of damage, is pretty much still invisible. Helpful for all you shield ambush types too.

Kinda hard to see the opacity, but if you've seen a lot of shields than maybe you can.

Here you can see just how invisible the shield is, and that it shows no sign of wear, even after taking about a minute of steady fire.

And after taking my time to stroll around and bump everyone to their doom, still no hindering sign of damage.

File is CRC FXD so it is working online. If not please let me know very fast so I can fix. I usually test online, but I am just not patient enough to work the shield into a position that would make a good screen.

Its not modded :X I was just holding up a flash bang so the gun wouldn't be in the way. Cross-hairs automatically turn red while hovering over targets.

But ya thx. Im surprised nobody has done this before.

It's not a very big difference, but it looks clean.

What washing powder did you used?

Remember that it wont make ALL impacts invisible. But it cuts down a huge amount.

Basically CRC fixing merges the original file and the modded one together so the modded one looks exactly like the original, making it so you cant get banned. As leaving the modded one the way it is, wont trigger a ban, but will stop you from getting into games.

Steam comes right out and says using custom skins/textures will not trigger a VAC ban.

not so it looks like the original but it's the same file size & type as original, and if you did the tutorials wrong you won't get a ban. you will get a error of file's different from server aka different from other players = kick for error not kick for ban.
