crossfire - failed to download patch file[SOLVED]
hey guys i just downloaded corssfire and i run and setup then when i press ame start this message appears

How about Firewall? Maybe it's blocking it. Or u got crashed file, if turning AntiVirus and Firewall don't work, download from other mirror ur CF.
This happened to me also. Go into ur crossfire directory and find the selfupdate_cf.exe and the patcher_cf.exe and the crossfire.exe. open them one at a time in this order.
1-selfupdate_cf.exe
2-patcher_cf.exe
3-crossfire.exe
if something pops up just close the boxes. Then go to ur crossfire box thing and run crossfire.

Try a fresh copy of crossfire. If it doesn't work, delete it, check for firewalls/antivirus, and download a new copy.
