Alright. Since the dreamcast was like one of the best consoles ever. who thinks learning to develop for it would be better than developing for pc answer in poll
I only have a Genesis. ):
Screw that, PC ftw.
My only problem with learning for dreamcast is that unless you want to keep burning Cd-rs to test each build, you have to send the compiled build through a cable. And I dont have a Tv in my room. Fuck.
As for the connection problem, why not just use an emulator?

Because NullDC and chankast suck. And You really can only test on a real dreamcast

Oh okay fair enough. Can't you use CD-RWs then?

What i mean with needing the real dreamcast is because You use the KOS disk and load it into memory then you can either
1.Use a Cd-r with the build on it
2.send the build using a Direct connection.
And no. Dreamcasts can only Read GD-ROMs and CD-R's Under Ideal curcumstances. What i mean is the CD-R has to have a Bootable .ELF file which is a Dreamcast executable
Lol that sucks >.<
/notes to never even consider Dreamcast dev.
Stick to PCs, you don't wanna go developing for something that's that old.
Isn't ELF a Unix format?

Yeah, But i think either
1. KOS(what loads homebrew ELFs) is Unix based
2.Dreamcast is unix based
