He is probably trying to do this:
1. Give you account with password
2. You play on that account and level it up
3. He gets your changed password from his email
4. And you just did all the work for him
or... he is stupid (: thats all I can think of

Uh, if he gave you the recovery e-mail/recovery question, I'm guessing you're safe. Perhaps he just wants you to play on it, spend ZP or something, then recover it back.
