There is no proof of that the mayans where highly evolved they predicted eclipses they predicted full moons they didn't just "die" why would a civilization like that just "die"

Even though the Inca's where highly more advanced then the Mayans or the Aztecs The Mayans just fell off this earth like if nothing happened. I myself know if it was a plague There should be documented just like the black plague people where dieying but it was documented but this was not as for war. If it was war between other civilizations the winning side would of written down there victory or would they not?
