What is a hack "Hook"?

Well I was reading up on some posts and saw that Gordon's "Hook" on Eu has been patched and alot of people use his hook here on Na...What exactly is a "Hook" in a hack?

Oh should I have put this just in the General Hacking section?

its a piece of code in the hack that allows the hack to attach to the games so that it can edit the game and then u can use ur hacks

A hack is a program depending on the coding it was designed for take for example a game cheat..these type of game cheats are modified in order to make game easy for the unskilled gamer 98 percent gamers who rely on a hacks are your modern day gamers who do not whatsoever have the slightest idea how to evaluate the enemys stratagy.Most of your todays gamers who have been tired of getting owned in most online games have either become game cheat coders and understood the fact that there is many minsets in that range so why not make a buk or two and sell them,,as many also understand public hacks are only to get one shifted in the direction of buying vip hooking the moron to a hack..if you gonna load a public hack its a free ban,, if you are one paying for a hack ur one paying for your ban HOW IRIONIC..lmao

Hook is a place for codes, later u inject it into a file or process (PID).
