perhaps you got a virus that could make your computer slower just system scan your computer

Well get gamebooster, It shuts down the programs that dont need to be running. Press Cntrl alt del and go to your processes, and end any that dont need to be running(i.e limewire,msgners, etc)
And try this to help. helped me alot.
1. Right click my computer, go to proerties.
2. In left corner click Performance Information and Tools.
3.Click on Advanced Tools in the top left corner.
4. Click 3rd option from bottom "Adjust appearance and preformance of windows"
5.Choose the option Adjust for best preformance
6. Click apply then Ok

It's gunna make all of your windows and bars look kinda like windows 98.But It helps having the extra graphics and what not turned down because your comp doesn't have to load them.
