[Help] PS3 issue

Firstly hello fellow PS3ers.

I have been experiencing problems with my PS3 since the 3.15 update. My games freeze after a few minutes(if it is so long) then the PS3 restarts. After the restart it will not detect any games only DVDs and PS2 games. The only way I can fix it is to go into the Recovery Menu and "Restore File System", "Rebuild Database" the "Restore PS3 System". Then after that it reads the game for a few minutes then freezes.

I have sent in my PS3 to Sony 4 times this month and when I receive it the problem is the same. Sony has replaces my Blu-Ray drive.

I currently have FW 3.41 and I still have the problem.

Can anyone please help.

This is the first time I've heard of this Problem, Is the disc clean and has it been exposed to the sun at any point in time, the shiny side facing towards the sun?

Has Your PS3 been dropped or exposed to any foreign object such as a liquid or solid object?

No, I just got it back yesterday from Sony

This looks like a software error, Unknown to me your PS3 looks like it has corrupted itself, if you have sent it in for repairs over and over again and the problem is still not resolved, Your PS3 might have a fried internal capacitor or motherboard segment.

It may be overheating (allow 4cm distance around the entire PS3), One last question, Is Your Warranty still Valid?

Yes, my warranty is still valid.

That is Really Good News, Ask Sony for a replacement and tell them that you have had it sent in for repairs and the problem is still there, They should give you a Brand New PS3!

Oh my god. I am so sorry. I had this same exact problem and in a week or two your playstations going to kick the bucket. I had the same thing, like everythings the same ,Soon when you turn it on some of the parts of the xmb wont load, then it will say the HDD is corrupted and, It just stops functioning. Im sorry.

Edit: Didnt notice you have a warranty, Lucky bastard. :P
