Tips:
Don't get in the way of upperclassmen.
Personally, when freshman become attention whores, female or male, their reputation will drop almost immediately. Don't hide in the shadows, make friends. high school is way more fun than middle school mate.

Just focus on your grades. and not the girls.
During my freshman year, it wasn't hard to slack off at all.
High School is crazy,especially your first day. If you go to private school, things will be a bit safe.
Just get enough rest, be well groomed but not over-done. Focus on your grades and sneak a crush in there so you don't grow up lonely /

Taking japanese, biology, Algebra 2, English 11 Honors.

Whatever you do, don't look lost. Even I would like to pick on kids that look lost, but I'm not that kind of person.
Don't fall into peer pressure because it doesn't make you look good. Most girls find it both un-attractive and weak.

Personally, I didn't want to skip the first day because of my conscience of not procrastinating, etc;
I got off a 10 day trip to the philippines, and once I got home, I had 2 hours to get ready for school.
On the first day of school, i slept in math class...

High School isn't hard at all dude. If you can keep yourself focused, calm, cool, collected, and on track with set goals, you won't be overwhelmed or worried.

Whatever you do, don't huddle up with your friends and create a pretruding oval which blocks the entire hall. It pisses people off. Stick to the right of the hall and don't stop walking unless you're inside of a class room or infront of a common school service.
