Try to lighten your adjustment layers a bit.
I can see at the top where darkening and I assume, blue photo filters, made the building, the moon, and some of the clouds LQ.
Also, I would try and create a focal somehow. My eyes are drawn to both the moon and the tree roots because they're the brightest areas, when the focal should be just one of those, or maybe the guy.
Other than that, I like it.

Cheers ryan, i agree it does lack a focal and thats something i definately need to address, the LQ problems, i don't even know what came from that, i actually think it happened in a layer i was blurring i'll have to check it out.

The only thing that really annoys me is the fact that the bottom is sharp and the top is LQ, other than that it's a pretty nice piece.

if u brightened it up and brought out a focal more in the process adding good depth would look sweet

I think it could do with some selective colour adjustments to reduce the cyan on the left. Also it would be better if you could reduce the noise on the left as it tends to clash with the quake dude.

Think you got all the crit you need to be honest, just posting mainly to welcome you back to making stuff. Stick with the larger art too its a lot more rewarding
