I need help translating a captcha image into a string in VB.NET.
I tried to find some Captcha killer API but i didn't find a good one.

I'm pretty sure stuff like this is really hard because a lot of captchas use different characters/fonts etc for the image. I'm not sure if there's any way to extract the string the captcha program is comparing the user entered string to and then simply type that into a textbox. Short of somehow separating each letter and analyzing it, I dunno any other approaches. NextGen will have a more concrete answer for you.

lonely teddy bear posted an API for decaptcher but u have to look for it because its a post not a thread...(good luck)

We recently had such thread...

He isn't looking for a Captcha to Image, he is looking for an OCR type application, which scans the image and converts it to text.

Similar to OCR (Optical Character Recognition ) found in scanners today (and old scsi devices) which is mediocre in difficulty dept.

That's what I am talking about.
