possible Breakthrough

so i was wandering through the cf folders and found the observer folder here
C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\rez\UI\observer and i found .DTX files i opened dtx convert and found that they were in lithtech form and they opened this dtx view and photoshop and i think this may help us move toward cracking the way they pack rez files and maybe be able to unpack them like in ca
before everyone starts flaming and crapping all over this i searched and found nothing on this and the observe feature is fairly new too so i dont think people have found this yet but if this is useless atleast we know we can edit teh obeserver screen ][YOUTUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS-Q6cK9CkM[/YOUTUBE]

I don't know if this is exactly what we're looking for be able to unpack rez 16 folders to mod like that again but its definitely a discovery worth looking into. I'll see what i can do and i would advise everyone else do the same

vid dont work upload aggain

photo shop wont be able to becasue it is a 2d editor. u need a cad 3d editor for this. on top of that z8 was careful and i think made it so that they can only be opened with a lithtech tool
