May this be it?
I think I have deleted soundmax, And I haven't been able to hear anything for days on my computer,

Is this the problem? I don't want to dl something that won't work.

re-install with ur cd

then re-install.

Uninstall it completely,re install it,Google it,or download anti-virus to c if u have virus or sometin(i suggest PandaCloud cuz its free and its full version)

Check your speakers are plugged in.

Check if your speakers are on.

Check if your volume is muted.

Check if anything is actually playing.

Check if your deaf.
