You cannot make a offline searcher. Where should it get the information from?
You can neither connect to a database offline, unless it's local.

Ahh thank you, it's refreshing to be told the rules by a person whose had his accounts banned more times than anyone else on this forum
But yeah, you have a point. I've been getting offtopic a lot lately haha, just end up having random convos with people in the forum
Hmmm, is a local search engine possible offline?

Depends what you mean by search engine. If you mean search for webpages while you're offline then it's pretty difficult, if not actually impossible. However a search within your computer is quite possible, so which one is it?
Well, my friend cleared it up a little bit.
He said to make a serach engine throught a database that gives information, not the extract webpage
ie, if i type "mpgh", all information bout mpgh will apear.
So is this possible?

Umm, if you have the database stored on the computer then yes you can access it without the internet. Obviously you can't access a database on a website without the internet.
