SOTW/AOTW Theme Ideas

Everyone's wearing Blane's shit.

Spawn told me to make #52 tomorrow.
What if we did a theme like..."Text", speaking of Blane.

Hmmm. Doesn't sound that bad actually. But we would have to define the theme well. Whether it be typography or text as an aesthetic feature like in my gift.

I was thinking aesthetic.
Since we've done typography before.
Defining it wouldn't be hard either, just show some of his work.

True. Theme also opens up a lot of avenues for creativity.

Doc, i need some help cleaning out tutorial section, i also had dave add a Art section link on top bar of the site.

Typography, yes, but we're speaking in terms of text being part of a whole piece.
Like the second small art in Shayne's sig.
Everyone always talks about how sexy Blane's text is.
Why not give them a reason to try it?

Plus with typography many people just whack on some text with a cool font and think it constitutes as typography. Hopefully this theme might make them integrate the text as a part of the piece. At least on paper it sounds good.

And they can put it in a piece if they choose, but they'll have to understand that the text will be judged by itself.
Unless we decided to take into account how well the text fits with the rest of the piece, but I don't know how well most users can determine that.
In that case, the vote team may be needed.
Either way.

ull have to explain it in detail bc people are just tarded, but sounds good, its awesome to see u guys working at it.

I'll make sure to gather some pieces to highlight what is meant by the theme.

Gewd gewd... on that note, please keep the contests going, right now im dealing with minions and staff issues, so i cant keep an eye out. Thanks alot Shayne.
