[Help] updater
updators are easy..
Post a "txt" file on the internet with the latest version.
if ur version and the Internet TXT file are the same Then
U got the latest version
else
Download the one with the same as TXT file.
End IF
NOTE. THIS IS VERY BUGGY.. I DID IT IN RED DRAGON BUT IF SOMEONE HAVE A HIGHER VERSION THEN THE RELEASE VERSION IT WILL STILL SAY OUT OF DATE

Which is why everyone needs to start using Visual Studios Built in feature, there is no good reason not to, but plenty of good reasons to do it, I really can't comprehend why there are so many questions to this regard, if you have a web host/server or dedicated server, Upload the required files using OneClick and let your application check for updates before it opens (or after it closes)
suree i am Doom. anyway
I havbe no clue how to use Visual Studio all that much to the updater part

Simple, Right click application name in solutions explorer ---> Click publish on the tabs to the left ---> Click Update Button ---> Tick the (either or) Application will check for updates before or after application starts ---> Change the update location to the URL where you uploaded your files using one click (which can be buggy, you may need to manually upload files, usually works ok though)
Close that out, and be sure that Automatically increment revision to each publish is checked, and then compile your application, upload your files to specified URL (same as the one you put in settings for check for updates on /....) Thats it, then no matter where the user is, it will check for a updated version online.

Any Host will work, doesn't even need to be a Win-Host, Can be Linux host.
However, if there is a issue, upload files manually using coreftp. (or any ftp client)
I have never had it where it didn't work at all, may have to upload menually, but always worked after my tests. Get yourself a free host, Url doesn't matter.
