Be Able to jailbreak PS3.
Notes.
This patch is for BLUS30377, if you have a diferent BLUS verison, this patch will not work, you'll get a black screen.
How to create hacked lobbies on PS3.
Boot your PS3 normally (without JailBreak)
Delete the MW2 patch from your 'Game Data' folder on your PS3
Boot up MW2 from the disc (not a backup, the actual disc)
You should be prompted to download the v1.11 patch for MW2; download and install the patch
After the install for the patch completes, quit MW2, turn off your PS3
Unplug your PS3, plug in your JailBreak device, plug your PS3 back in, and preform the JailBreak
Run PS3 FTP Server (help?)
On your PC, run FileZilla. Navigate to '/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30377/USRDIR/' and look for 'patch_mp.ff' (this is the MW2 patch file)
Download the 'patch_mp.ff' to your desktop from your PS3. Open it with HexWorkshop.
Open the downloaded patch (the modded one) with HexWorkshop.
With the modded patch in HexWorkshop, hit 'CRTL+A' on your keyboard to select all (highlight everything). Hit 'CRTL+C'.
Go to the legitimate 'patch_mp.ff' file in HexWorkshop, hit 'CRTL+A' on your keyboard to select all (highlight everything) and then 'CRTL+V'. Accept the changes (if prompted).
Save changes to the patch (File > Save).
Back on FileZilla, upload the patch you just saved from HexWorkshop and replace the one on your PS3 (overwrite).
Go back to your PS3, exit PS3 FTP Server (quit game).
Turn off your PS3.
Turn your PS3 back on normally without JailBreaking it
Start up MW2 normally and go into a Private Match
Start the match, and you should have your hacks
