Naruto Budoukai!
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Hands-On - PlayStation 3 Previews at GameSpot
Now if any of you are decent dbz fans, you've probably played DBZ budokai.
-Its a fighting game, and basically 3rd person with shooting kamehameha's from a long distance in mind.
Naruto is now releasing its second rip-off of this series.
Now I don't mind this, in fact it looks pretty decent and well made for cell shaded fighting games.
But.
Naruto has a lot of fighting games, i've played the majority of them, and one of them is to me, the best.
Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen 4
(Naruto clash of ninja in english)
-Gamecube, the wii version's suck unless played with gamecube controller.
-Same as SSBB
------------------------
Naruto ultimate ninja had no real fighting game feeling as it was just whoever had a stronger character(4th hokage) and just hit the other guy with a special over and over. That and you had to put in "stats" for a rpg single player, making some bosses just stupid.
Naruto on the 360 was better in graphics, but core fighting was very, very clunky.
Naruto Clash of ninja was horribly dubbed, clunky default controls, and the damage for some people was just idiotically insane for the little effort you did.
------------------------------------------------------------
The gekito series was the only good fighting game the naruto series has ever put out.
The reason for this is what all fighting games need, defense and offense appreciation. If you a game all offense, its really just whoever strikes first, defense makes it a camping match.
Naruto 4 came out right after naruto and sasuke split their gay couple.
And what made this the best part was that you got to play as almost everyone on the show. In all the clash games, this one has the most playable.
-With the newer ones the new characters are put in. And in the newest ones, characters from the manga are put in before they show on the anime.
What i truly loved about this game was every character had a good side, the specials were easy but not overpowered or piss poor weak, and most of all it was easy to learn, hard to master.
No joke, at the time there were tons of tournaments because the game was better than other fighting games.
--------------------------------------
Anyway, they should just stick with gekito, and fuck budokai ripoffs if you ask me as a fighting game fanatic.
