[SOLVED]crossfire on ubuntu?

ive been using ubuntu(an operating system) more lately and i was wondering if there was a way to play crossfire on it.
i was reading somewhere that crossfire would run fine in it but that xtrap was the problem, maybe if that was taken out somehow it would work.
or maybe its impossible, anyone know?

InToxicated told me the same thing . Will not work , he tryed it himself.
