Error with picture files

when i make my skins for weapons it works and i just follow the step that is on the internet here. But after saving and puting it in the iw_o7 file i start game and get the error that says image file corrupt can anyone tell me what i could have done wrong.

Make sure you saved them correctly. D.X.T1 or 5 depending on if it has an alpha channel or not, and make sure to generate mip maps. Check again to make sure you did the hex editing and then the CRC fix. If you are POSITIVE that you did those right you may have saved it in the wrong folder.

Be sure you have this while saving file...


if your weapon has a Alpha Channel
( you can check this by looking up the alpha channel in the channel tab on the right site )
save as D.X.T 5

if not save as D.X.T 1

Always compare file size with the original, it has to be the same in bytes, otherwise you'll get that error, to fix it follow the intructions above
