sims 2 haven't got CD help

so i got apartment life through torrent and installed it, it asks me for the CD so i can run it but obviously i don't have this. I tried reinstalling open for business and nightlfe expansion packs hoping it would ask me for that CD instead and it hasn't worked.

Anyone know a glitch to get past this or what i need to do so i can run sims 2?

thanks in advance - and i am not playing sims 2 it's for my little bro
