Could someone please help me?

First off, I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm just new and very lost. I downloaded AlterIWnet and installed it correctly according to a setup guide I found in the web. Now I just need to know how to join a game. I alrdy ran the game and updated but when I hit play and deathmatch I can never find anyone to play with. And my NAT is set to strict, idk if thts bad but if it is, someone please tell me. and how to fix it.
