I hear your pleas, I see your desperation,
Yet you don't understand, life is full of trepidations.
You are like a gum under my shoe,
Stuck there until a knife forces you to unglue.
You say hold me, I say learn to let go,
If you are ever holding on to the brim, I might push you off.
for we can be far or close and I wouldn't cross the road.
Your sadness is unreasonable, your situation an overstatement,
You claim to be a fallen angel, I see nothing but a rattling serpent.
So heed my words now, so that 'I was never told' never crosses your lips,
I see right through your lies, and your attention seeking whims,
You still have the chance to change to the truth,
For you are facing a shadow, a true sleuth.
You say hold me, I say face facts & let go,
So when you're feeling on top again, know you're still below.
not really in MY life, but a refried black bean. /
Refried Beans FTW!

how long did it take you to write this?
about 3 mins
really?
o_O
Yeah, once i get a particular idea in my head, the words come quite easily, then its just a matter of reading and re-reading, making sure every phrase has a meaning.
hmm... that's pretty smart
its my process, though sometimes i just write, and it turns into something without conscious thought. Those people tend to like the more. They tend to be more open ended, and people can take different things from them.
ill remember that for next time i decide to write one
Cool, i guess my only advice is, don't worry about rhymes and write about what you know or experiences etc, people can usually tell if what you are writing about is fake or not. If you put yourself into your writing it shows in your words.
