Serious Question
Ok I had a question about Combat Arms copyright. I made a website and on the nexon.net website i took a bunch of sources from their homepage (they suck at protecting their stuff lol) I took player profile info and clan record info and put it on my website. Can they fine me? I'm ok if they tell me to take it down but i'm not ok with a 250k fine that would suck lol.

Specify what sources you used.

And check their copyright,

Well since it does show a copyright on the page they might try to fine you for taking thier image (being nexon and all). You should be careful

Edit: I did check thier copyright at the bottom and the first paragraph shows

You're most likely not gonna get in trouble

They will send you and email and request it to be removed .
If you choose not to comply they will sue you .

It happend to Maple story private servers .

Awesome thanks. I figured It wouldn't be a problem and they would send me an e-mail to take it down.

actually, id doubt theyd bothe ryou with something like that... its a clan site... and theres "Nexon America" written all over it... so looks more like advertising about nexon to me...

They just doesn't care about it.

There is website of Combat Arms Signature Maker where they connect to the Nexon servers and take all the info.

If you are in a clan, it will be shown on some signatures (not all signatures contain clan information).
Signature update once every 120 minutes. You do not have to re-generate your signature to update your stats.

The only way they do that is connecting to Nexon's server stats and I dont think they have any problem at all with Nexon.
