Maybe move the logo down to the center.
Or move the loading back and the logo and center them.
I personally like basic layout and don't like all the fancy stuff for a program I am gonna use.
Add something to fill that big ass white spot in the middle.
Use native controls. Other than that just use the same colours as the actual forum? And use the "new" layout when you have the user info on top and the post in the bottom. /

That's what my proxy program used to look like, the thread view was similar to the recent posts (except that title was the username + any title, it said the post time at the bottom). I kinda dumped the project.
