mw2 banned. New account for Black Ops ?

Good morning to the whole community from Athens of Greece.

I would like to make a question and please only the people who are certain should answer because i wouldn't like at all to make my 60euro fly in a carbage.

I got banned at mw2 using the liberation, and until today i didn't buy a serial or a new game of mw2. I am willing though to buy the Black OPS and my question is , do i need to create a new account on Steam for the Black ops or i can play at my excisting account (which i would prefer)? Of course i wouldn't like the surprise of buying the game and when to begin to play for the first time, to recieve the "cheat detected" message.

Previous VAC Bans: Confirmed
If you have been banned from Modern Warfare 2, you will still be able to play Black Ops on the same steam account. The VAC ban does only affect Modern Warfare 2, not Black Ops.
