Will there be any major dedi servers coming out? Like with MW2 there was alterIWnet. Will the same possibly happen for Black Ops?

As the title says, the much anticipated alterOps project started today. You may track progress updates on http://www.alterops.net/ and on IRC, #alterOps @ Rizon. (Figure it out)

If you have any comments or suggestions, I probably won't be able to see/read them because of the excessive spam that will occur after I press the Submit button.

EDIT by NTAuthority: alterOps will likely not be developed, or at least delayed. Not due to it not being possible, but due to me not having any interest in BO or any MP game anymore.

Jeez sorry.. I don't normally go on alterIWnet, and thought it would have been a different site if it was made because of a different game..

i guess this is solved in a horrible manner,

What is the point with MW2 Private Servers anyways ? Why not just re-buy the game if you got banned for using Catalyst Public or VAC Chaos/Some new weird name?
