It works for me, getting 20-30 FPS now and nearly no real drops anymore!

Thats the minimum I got, even before trying to fix it

(Except for when an enemy comes round the corner ofc, then I get 1 fps and after that frame I'm dead.)

Gonna try and see if it is better.

Ill let my friend know about this, its barely playable on his pc.

Applied all modifications and made the file read only? And make sure you turn off Aero mode on windows 7 if you have it on! that saved me most FPS

For me 20-30 is good since my processor is 0.3 ghz short on minimum :P

I have windows xp and I followed that tutorial. I even used Gamebooster afterwards. I still have those FPS drops.

My FPS is fine. Then it starts going down and further down until I get like a 3 second lagg. Then it's normal again. I'll get that every ~2-5 minutes.

from 200 fps in mw2 to 20-30 fps in black ops? o.0

sorry but 30 fps are unplayable for me and i hope they fix this sh** because i spent money for this game and i even cant play it.

I got 2.26ghz core , i turned off all effects and visualization, removed wallpaper, defragmented, tweaked my system and put all settings to min. (exept windowed mode) and i can play nearly smooth, sometimes i do lag abit.
