[beta release!] Counter Strike DC! (Dreamcast)
Video game system this is for: Sega Dreamcast
found this on a forum a long time ago, i have the source, so i opened it up and slimmed it down to work with a dreamcast controller. i also messed with some bugs that were present in the programming.
How to play this version of Counter Strike:
what you need
Sega Dreamcast
OR
Dreamcast Emulator (not hard to find)
Boot dreams (see attachments)
CD-R (not a cd-rw not a dvd-r not a dvd-rw, a cd-r, i recomend Maxell brand)
How to get it to the cd
install boot dreams
Run boot dreams after install is finished
Extract CS from the rar file so you get the CDI image
Click the image with the CD and a match on it
Select "Browse"
Select the CDI Image
put your burn speed around 8x (i've had problems with anything higher)
Click "Process"
Select the CD Drive that the blank CD-r is in
and burn it to your disc
How to Play CS DC on a real dreamcast
You must have a Version 1 2 or 3 Dreamcast, 4 and 5 wont work (they patched game burning by then, you can try it, but it may not work)
To find out which you have, simply look at the bottom of your system for a number in a circle
Put the CD-R you burned for CS DC into the dreamcast
Hit the power button and have fun! This is an auto booting disc meaning no boot disc is needed!
I can't do a virus scan for the Counter Strike DC due to the fact the RAR file is 170megs
